Greeters

Welcome all members and visitors who enter the doors of Salem, help each person feel like a part of the family and encourage visitors to return.

Ushers

Welcome Salem members and guests to worship services and direct them to comfortable seating; lend spiritual dignity to services and enlighten members to appropriate church decorum.

Schedule: meet 2nd Saturdays, 10:00 AM(serve on all but 3rd Sundays)

Path of Light Midday Ministry

Provides a relaxed environment in which to explore the Word of God with other believers during the lunch hour.

Schedule: 1st and 3rd Mondays at 11:30 AM

Seasoned Saints (50+)

Promotes discipleship, fellowship, worship and service among the senior men and women of Salem through meaningful activities and events.

Meetings: 2nd and 4th Saturdays, 3:00 PM

Men of Honor

“As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.” Proverbs 27:17

The Men of Honor are focused on leading men to exalt Jesus Christ, develop them to Christ like maturity, and equip them for their ministry in the church and their life mission in the world, in order to glorify God.

Women of Excellence

Promotes discipleship and fellowship among women through the study of designated books, small group prayer cells, and monthly gatherings; hosts the biannual Women of Excellence Conference and encourages participation in other women’s conferences.

Bread of Life Speech Choir

Edifies the Body of Christ through the spoken Word of God.

Nurse’s Ministry

Provide limited medical treatment to Salem members and guests and assist ushers in ensuring everyone’s physical safety and well-being while in Salem’s facility.

Meetings: 2nd Saturdays, 10:00 AM and 2nd Mondays, 7:00 PM

Evangelism Explosion

Equips Salem members to fully understand God’s plan of salvation and to effectively share their faith in personal witness to friends, family, and others; sessions last 12 weeks and include classroom instruction as well as home visitation.

God’s Covenant Partners 

“For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.”
This Salem support group is for saved, confidential, and committed women.  Our purpose is to glorify God by praying at least once a week with our prayer partner on focused prayer.

Life Development

Life Development

Sunday School for the entire family to study God’s Word, learn to apply God’s word and connect with other students of God’s word. There are age appropriate classes for all ages.

Life Development: Marriage and Family Ministry

Provide information from God’s Word on the principles of building strong families.  Provide guidance and support for families parenting children of faith.  Ensure Salem members, regardless of their family status (married, single, parent, couples, etc.) remain an integral part of our mission of exalt, evangelize and expand the kingdom of God.

New Member Orientation

Ensures that new member candidates understand basic Bible doctrine and acquaints them with various ministries of the church. New members age 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Outreach

The Outreach Ministry is carrying out the mission of the church beyond the walls by meeting the needs of those in jail, prison, and those serving in the military, as well as their families through a holistic approach.
